After restriction after restriction, Governor Kristi Noem of South Dakota was just trying to bring back a sense of normalcy for those who are tired of the tyrannical reach of the government. All she wanted was to bring joy back to the citizens of the United States and the resident of South Dakota. But instead, Biden has decided to once again make an extremely arbitrary decision that has no basis in reality.
Governor Noem filed a lawsuit against the National Park Service’s denial of a 4th of a July fireworks celebration. In the past, this display of patriotism was a beautiful way to celebrate our freedom. Our freedom that now being stomped on thanks to the democrats. This fireworks display was a significant and impressive show that reminded everyone of the importance of that day. The 4th of July is so important to the history of our country and the democrats just want to take it all away.
A federal court ruled against Noem. A sad day for freedom in my opinion. One of the main reasons cited was the Coronavirus. The overblow reaction to this “virus” is the democrats way of making Americans comply to their insane demands. They want to keep American afraid because that works in their favor. This denial of a fireworks show at Mt. Rushmore is just another example of a scared administration that just wants compliance and not independence.
In response to this denial, Gov. Noem stated on her Twitter account that she was going to continue to fight for the rights of her constituents. She wrote, “The fight isn’t over. We’ll be appealing to return fireworks to Mount Rushmore in 2022 and in the future. The decision to cancel them was arbitrary and unlawful.”
She is absolutely right, the decision to deny patriotic Americans the joy of watching fireworks on the 4th of July over one of the most historic monuments in this great nation is despicable. I am a proud of American who would love to be present during that kind of celebration. It makes me incredibly sad to know that we are asked to still live in fear. I am tired of living in fear.
Kristi Noem said it best. She made another tweet about the situation that summed up how I feel about being denied this celebration. She wrote, “In the radical Left’s view, America has become one of the villains of history. They promote kneeling for our national anthem. They tear down statues honoring our nation’s heroes. President Biden is caving to them by blocking Mount Rushmore fireworks.”
I want the insanity to stop. It is time to stop making hard-working Americans the villain. We are not the villain and just because we want to celebrate America on the day that made us an independent nation, we shouldn’t be punished. I am tired of feeling like the bad guy because I love this country. I am sick and tired of being denied my rights and freedoms by the radical left. I am praying that Governor Noem keeps fighting to bring back this amazing event. I am praying that left will finally stop being so scared and let Americans enjoy things in life again.
